About Terania Green
What awaits you?
Terania Green was taken over by Kirsten and Christian Uhrig in 2013 and carefully rejuvinated and renovated since.
5km from The Channon in the Byron bay Hinterland it is operated as an Eco Resort with style and a bit of luxury. As such, we offer 2 near identical cottages which are recently (fully) renovated with a modern bathroom and well established kitchen.
Each Cottage is equipped for 2 adults with an extra large bed, Couch, Fireplace, Dining Table and wardrobe. We do have a cot for babies.
For your convenience, we offer free guest WiFi and a TV with DVD player and a few movies.
Terania Green is LGBT friendly and we also allow pets as we also have 2 dogs who are friendly and usually love to play.
Important To Know
We like to think of Terania Green as a place where people come to relax and get away from their daily routines. As such:
About the Area
Terania Creek Road leads from The Channon to the Nightfall National Park, home of the Protesters Falls and and one of the last remaining intact Rainforest pockets in Australia. In the 1970s - one of the first environmental movements in the world.
The Channon is also known as the home of the Arts & Craft Markets which are on each 2nd Sunday of the month.
Terania Creek, which springs in the national park, runs the lenghts of our property with a beautiful swimming hole for refrishing swims and to watch the resident platypus.
2.5 hours from Brisbane, 1.5 hours from the Goldcoast Airport and 15 Minutes to Lismore you are a million miles away and yet, right there.
There are plenty of things to do in the area
It takes about 45 minutes to get to the beautyful beaches of Byron Bay and Ballina about the same to the Airport.
We are about 20 minutes from Bangalow and Lismore with a Regional Airport.
The Protestors Falls are about 15 minutes up Terania Creek Road and Minion Falls and Nimbin within a 30 minutes' drive.
The Channon Craft Market is on every second weekend of the month and each other weekend Markets are in Byron, Bangalow, Brunswick Heads and Lismore (Farmers Market - Thursday and Saturday).
And what can you do on the property?
We have a Boule de Petanque field on site and relaxing at the creek and having a swim are great activities to unwind.
